PugChamp

Changelog

What changed on PugChamp, newest first. Dates are when it went live.

20 Sep 2026

  • PugChamp is live at pugchamp.protfx.com. Sign in with Steam, pick a Format, and add up to the launchpad. The site runs from Hetzner's Falkenstein datacentre, next to serveme's EU servers.

18 Sep 2026

  • A Member is never swapped into two slots of one Game: when two Substitute Requests want the same person, the first window takes them and the second looks elsewhere.
  • A Candidate who is restricted before the window ends is no longer chosen: the Game hears the change while the request is still open, and at startup after an outage.

16 Sep 2026

  • One Format everywhere. The Players, Leaderboard and Awards pages open in the Format you last chose — from the toolbar switch or on any page — instead of falling back to 6v6; a profile opens in its own Format unless you ask for another.

15 Sep 2026

  • Leaderboard, Awards and head-to-head. /leaderboard ranks every rated Member in a Format with their Band, the week's movement, record and streak; /awards names the month's most Games, best Medic, most substitutes filled and biggest climb; a profile's Compare with… opens two Members' record against each other and together.
  • Streaks. A profile shows the current streak and the longest run of wins, and the leaderboard has a column for it.
  • Restrictions. /restrictions lists everyone restricted right now, with the reason and the time left.
  • This changelog.

14 Sep 2026

  • A polish pass over every page: presses are felt, menus and dialogs close cleanly, the phone toolbar fits, countdowns no longer stutter.
  • The Lobby refuses stale facts about a Member, and the chat purge sits before the time.

13 Sep 2026

  • Game night. A live scoreboard and round clock on a running Game, a Timeline of what happened, Rating movement on the Players table, share cards for Games and Members, browser notifications that actually fire, and a map cooldown so the same map is not drafted twice in a row.

5 Sep 2026

  • Games pages. A Games list with the map, the Captains and the score; a Member's Game History on their profile.
  • The strip. The Format's running Games, substitutes wanted and your Restrictions, on one row above the launchpad.

3 Sep 2026

  • Chat and presence. One chat per Format with mentions, who is Online, and Discord mirrors.
  • Ratings and Stats. OpenSkill Ratings per completed Game, Stats per Member and Format, the ETF2L profile and its badges.
  • Substitutes and moderation. Substitute Requests when a Player leaves, Restrictions and Penalties, Appeals, and the Admin's audit log.

2 Sep 2026

  • Games on real servers. A Game books a serveme.tf server, sends the Roster, follows the log and scores the match; 6v6 and Highlander.

30 Aug 2026

  • The Lobby and the Draft. Pre-Ready, Ready, the Launch and the Captain draft, live for everyone on the page.
